Culture Notes These clump-forming plants can be lifted and divided in the spring and the fall. Plant in areas with good air circulation, but protection from strong winds. Periodic pruning until mid summer will produce more stems and a later blooming plant. These plants require a lot of maintenance (winter mulching, abundant fertilizer and water, spraying every couple weeks for powdery mildew) to maintain their quality of appearance. 'Orange Perfection' has salmon-orange blossoms.
