This plant will grow in moist soil.
Suitable soil is well-drained/loamy.
The pH preference is  a neutral soil.

Culture Notes
Plants will be less productive if allowed to seed.  Plants can be easily divided in by lifting and propagating the bulb in early spring.  Flowers produced in the summer can be various colors.
